Aarno Karimo (until 1906 Hasselqvist, December 29, 1886 Parikkala - 13 March 1952 in Helsinki) was a Finnish novelist, painter, illustrator, poet and officer. He was a passionate nationalist and intellectual high-flyer. Karimo best-known work is probably an epic and nationalist mystery containing a description of the history of Finland mounds night, which he both wrote and illustrated.
