Domenico Tintoretto (also known as Domenico Robusti) was an Italian painter from Venice who grew up under the tutelage of his father, Tintoretto, a renowned artist of the Venetian school. Domenico eventually took over his father's studio in 1594, becoming especially renowned for his portraiture.
