A self-educated man.
(His training at the Rietveld Academy of Arts lasted only 10 minutes.)
As a child, sweet and a daydreamer
As a teenager, difficult
As a young adult, a successful advertising man.
And since 23 years of age, living from and with the muses of painting and sculpture.
From day one as an artist he earned his own way, gaining along the way lots of admiration and sometimes even envy for his independent way of life.
He worked in Haarlem, Greece, New Orleans and now making art in Kolderwolde (in the north of the Netherlands).
Exhibiting in the Netherlands, Western Europe, United States and still running against the wind.
